Leading the fight against stomach ulcer
Amynah Usman is a Lawyer and advocate whose advocacy fulfils the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2, 3, 4 and 10. She holds an LL.B (Hons) from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and LL.M from University of South Wales, the United Kingdom. She expresses her passion for youth development, women’s inclusion in government, and youth participation in politics through critical conversations, dialogues and collaborations.
She has spoken on various platforms within Nigeria on issues relating to education, political participation in Africa and the role of women in nation building.

She is a regular guest on WFM 91.7, Africa’s first ever women radio, ARISE TV and many other news media platforms as a strong gender inclusion advocate. She has also recorded commendable success in business, with over a decade's experience running a luxurious brand and penetrating international markets with a dedicated clientele.
In fulfilment of the UN SDG 3, Amynah co-founded Ozohvehe Foundation, an Abuja-based Charity focused on the nutrition, wellbeing and health of women and children. She Recently founded Ulcer Aid, Africa’s first foundation created exclusively to aid, create awareness and support individuals dealing with stomach ulcer.
According to WHO data, in 2018 alone, 5,123 Nigerians died from Stomach Ulcer.
