Ulcer Aid Foundation was founded by Amynah Usman Hamzat, a lawyer and advocate committed to fulfilling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Amynah's personal journey with stomach ulcers ignited her passion to create a supportive community for individuals facing the same challenges.

How are ulcers diagnosed?
Diagnosis may involve endoscopy, upper gastrointestinal (Gl) series, blood tests, amd sometimes biopsy to determine the type and location of the ulcer.
Is dyspepsia (Indigestion) the same as ulcer?
These symptoms resemble peptic ulcer disease, but when tested, only 1/3 of people will have a stomach ulcer — the other 2/3 will have functional dyspepsia.
